Road Planing

Metcalfe Bros Ltd operate several Wirtgen road planers, with cutting widths from 500mm to 1200mm. We can offer these machines for hire with experienced operator or we can supply the complete package of planer, sweeper and tippers. We provide a 7 day 24 hour service and will try our best to supply machines at short notice.

Our current fleet includes:

W1200F 1200mm wide cut, up to 300mm deep, this machine is on tracks with a front loading belt. Ideal for high production in restricted sites.

W1000 1000mm wide cut, up to 250mm deep, We have 2 of these machines, on wheels with rear loading belt.

SF500C 500mm wide cut, 70mm deep. This machine has no loading belt and is ideal for cutting round ironwork or cutting tie-in joints for overlay beds.

Patch planers We also have patch planers to mount on JCBs and skid steer loaders these have a 400mm wide cut and up to 100mm deep.

We always have road planings for sale and have recently added a tarmac recycling plant to our fleet.
